About the role:

We’re looking for a very seasoned and experienced hands on Digital Product Designer with proven Design Systems skills and good UX knowledge to join our Product Design team on a contract basis.

In this role, you will be working alongside a cross functional team of designers and engineers to help shape a new scalable Design System that will amaze end-users and lead our clients to success, so make sure you arrive ready to have an impact.

About you:

We know that everyone can’t be good at everything, but we expect that you have a solid background in Digital Product Design, with a strong expertise in Design System and that you are comfortably familiar with a combination of specialisms.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in UX Design, Product Strategy, UI / Interaction Design;
  • Significant experience in Design Systems and UI design;
  • Are confident with creating UI components independently to craft a reusable design systems.
  • Experience working with Zeroheight / Supernova (or similar) and Storybook very welcome;
  • Experience with animation and incorporating it into UI is very much welcomed;
  • Experience working with, or good knowledge of implementing web accessibility would also be a big bonus;
  • Coding skills / ability would be a benefit, but is in no way essential;
  • Know your way very well around Figma, incl. Tokens and Theming;

You should:

  • Be happy to collaborate with both more senior and junior people to establish a solid design principles and a sophisticated design language;
  • Enjoy transforming complex concepts into simple and easy-to-use experiences;
  • Happily participate in all aspects of product design: Research, Sketching, Wireframing, UI Design, Prototyping, User Testing etc;
  • Love working with other experienced designers and learning from them as well as sharing your own knowledge;
  • Love working alongside front-end developers and being a part of a cross-functional team;
  • Believe that product, design and engineering are closely connected and work best when collaborating together;
  • Care about accessibility and creating products that are inclusive to all people;
  • Be very hands-on;
  • Feel comfortable with moving at a fast pace with your team;
  • Believe that learning and self-development never end;
  • Want to bring your drive, passion and experience to our work and processes;
  • Be comfortable working either in a remote environment, or surrounded by your colleagues in the office.
  • Have great stakeholder management skills and be able to help, guide and support the client to success.

What we’d like to see from you:

  • A portfolio (pdf, presentation or website) demonstrating critical thinking, creativity, visual design and Design System experience;
  • CV outlining any professional experience and creative training/education, incl. any kind of official UX / UI training that you may have;
  • All written documents must be sent in English.

Our typical Recruitment Process looks like this:

  • 1st Interview with someone from the Talent team (30/45 mins)
  • Interview & Portfolio Review with Head of Product Design and one Senior Designer (~1h30)
  • Successful candidates only; Call with Client Partner of the Project (15-30 min)
