This position sits in our Marketing & Technology service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clients include ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company. 

JOB PURPOSE

As a Senior Digital Media Strategist at DEPT®, you will be the connecting link between our client's business objectives and our agency's comprehensive service portfolio. You will work closely with our Client Service team to create and implement strategic plans for well-known brands in our client portfolio and help them navigate through the ever-evolving digital landscape. 

Together with the wider strategy team, you will be the main driver for developing long-term digital marketing strategies including communication, performance, and media tactics in collaboration with our channel & tech experts. Together with our client service team, you present your team's work & ideas eloquently in workshops, QBRs, or other formats to our clients and partners.

We are looking for someone passionate about digital communication & emerging technologies, you should always have an eye on market trends and bring this enthusiasm to our clients & teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and industry landscape
  • Translate insights derived from data into a clear story to convince the client
  • Develop innovative and data-driven digital marketing strategies that align with client objectives
  • Leverage a deep understanding of marketing, technology, and innovation to create comprehensive plans that drive measurable results
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal execution of campaigns and projects
  • Analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Have at least 4 years of professional experience as a digital planner, communications or media strategist
  • Possess deep knowledge of the technical as well as creative capabilities of the most popular digital marketers/networks (Search, Social, Display, Mobile, DOOH, etc)
  • Independently conducts consumer research, develops data-based target group insights and derives holistic communication strategies, campaign plans, channel and media recommendations from these insights
  • Can explain complex data and information in an easy and understandable manner to clients.
  • Are a networker and because of this you are able to bring together our different disciplines and specialists;
  • Have a high sense of responsibility and enjoy working independently
  • Approach new tasks proactively and pragmatically
