The Senior Digital Advertising Strategist leads digital advertising campaigns, optimizing performance, managing budgets, and fostering partner relationships to drive revenue growth.

Most ecommerce advertising jobs put you on a reporting treadmill: pull the numbers, build the deck, repeat next Monday. Pattern built something different.

We accelerate hundreds of global brands across 60+ marketplaces — Amazon, TikTok Shop, Zalando, eBay, and more powered by 66T+ data points and our own AI-driven technology.

Our brand partners already see everything: clicks, spend, ROAS, live, inside Predict and Pi, our proprietary platforms. So when you're on a call with a partner, you're not the messenger reading numbers back to them, you're the specialist they actually want in the room.

Pattern is expanding, and we're looking for a Senior Digital Advertising Strategist to help transform our digital advertising team into a data-driven performance machine.

What is the day in the life of a Senior Advertising Strategist?

  • Own the end-to-end advertising strategy for 3-5 brand partners - the only Ads Strategist on each account - working alongside colleagues across Brand Management, Merchandising, SEO, Creative, Marketplace Expansion and more as one united front focused on driving revenue for our brand partners.

  • Deliver strategic pitches that shape a brand partner's broader brand-building strategy - right down to growing organic rank at the keyword level for long-term, sustainable growth.

  • Run and optimise paid media across Amazon Ads, Amazon DSP, and EU marketplaces like TikTok Shop, eBay, Zalando and Allegro.

  • Ensure the best possible execution through AI and automation - from budget pacing to testing and scaling keywords, bids, audiences, placements and creative, and spotting the next move through keyword research and competitive analysis.

  • Tell the performance story through clear, narrative-led monthly and quarterly reporting - translating the numbers into what they mean for a brand partner's strategy.

What will I need to thrive in this role:

  • 2:1/1st degree.

  • Hands-on experience in Search or Performance Marketing, ideally agency or ecommerce environment both welcome.

  • Proven track record executing campaigns across Amazon Ads, Google Ads or programmatic (experience with Meta, TikTok and EU marketplaces are a plus).

  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn performance data into clear insights and actions.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Data Visualisation, Google Analytics, and other tools used to analyse and interpret campaign performance.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to simplify complex topics for clients and internal teams.

  • Natural curiosity and strong critical thinking — you question assumptions and spot patterns.

  • Experience with retail or ecommerce brands is highly desirable.

  • Genuine excitement about AI and automation as tools that expand your remit, not something to be wary of.

We are looking for individuals who are:

Game Changers — Someone who looks at problems with an open mind and shares new ideas with team members, regularly reassesses existing plans and attaches a realistic timeline to goals, makes profitable, productive, and innovative contributions, and actively pursues improvements to Pattern's processes and outcomes.

Data Fanatics — Someone who recognises problems and seeks to understand them through data, draws unbiased conclusions based on data that lead to actionable solutions, and continues to track the effects of the solutions using data.

Partner Obsessed — Someone who is partner obsessed clearly explains the status of projects to partners and relies on constructive feedback, actively listens to partner's expectations, and delivers results that exceed them, prioritises the needs of your partners, and takes the time to create a personable experience for those interacting with Pattern.

Team of Doers — Someone who uplifts team members and recognises their specific contributions, takes initiative to help in any circumstance, actively contributes to supporting improvements, and holds themselves accountable to the team as well as to partners.

What is the hiring process?

  • An initial phone interview with Pattern's talent acquisition team (20 minutes).

  • An interview with one of the hiring team (30 minutes).

  • A case study in the form of a presentation (1hr).

  • A final in person interview and an opportunity to meet the team (1 hour).

  • Top-Grading with HR and Reference Collection.

  • Offer.
