Job SummaryWe’re hiring a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to help integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle and strengthen the security of our cloud and platform environments. This role focuses on securing CI/CD pipelines, implementing cloud security controls, automating compliance processes, and partnering with engineering teams to embed security into development workflows. You’ll serve as a technical leader, helping drive DevSecOps practices while improving the security, reliability, and scalability of our platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities- Design and implement security controls across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software development workflows
- Integrate security testing tools, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management solutions
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for applications, infrastructure, and platform services
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized workloads
- Develop automated security and compliance checks supporting regulatory and internal security requirements
- Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to implement secure development practices
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize security tooling supporting application and infrastructure security
- Mentor engineers on secure development practices and DevSecOps methodologies
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, DevOps, or related engineering roles
- Experience implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows
- Experience working with AWS or Azure in a production environment
- Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience scripting or automating workflows using Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar technologies
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Snyk, Wiz, GitHub Advanced Security, or similar platforms
- Experience with SIEM, security monitoring, or threat detection platforms
- Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code security controls
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS
- Experience conducting threat modeling and security architecture reviews
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading security initiatives across multiple teams
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) in engineering workflows
