The EMEA team is responsible for global and regional relationships clients led from London, as well as the development of new data-driven marketing capabilities. They form part of our global team and collaborate closely with local market Annalect teams across EMEA as well as regional Omnicom agency partners.

TEAM: Marketing Intelligence and Reporting (Reporting vertical)

ROLE: Data Operations and Reporting Senior Manager, EMEA

REPORTING LINE: Nidene Pillay, Data Ops & Reporting Director – Marketing Intelligence

TEAM RESPONSIBLITIES:

Marketing Intelligence and Reporting is an SME team that provides deep expertise in selling and delivering several Omni client solutions. These solutions are major differentiators that puts Omnicom ahead of the competition. Specific responsibilities of the team are listed below.

  1. To scope and deliver all Omni Marketing Intelligence and Reporting work for Omnicom clients, including:
  • Data Taxonomies design & maintenance​
  • Data Governance and QA ​
  • Dashboard design, build and maintenance​
  • Data Pipelines design & delivery ​
  • TW/Planit (& TrackIT, SignIT) Deployment and Maintenance​

The Marketing Intelligence and Reporting team works very closely with the US Marketing Intelligence team and the Annalect India team to deliver scalable solutions at a global level.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Data Operations and Reporting Senior Manager, who will support an MI Director with all data operations and reporting workstreams for one of Omnicom’s global clients.

You are passionate about telling stories through creative representation of data. You have very good grasp of collecting, processing, and analysing large scale media data. You understand data infrastructure and data operations and know the challenges of building enterprise scale performance reporting. You want to work in regional and global roles with opportunity to drive best practices and innovation across agencies and teams around clever use of data in marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support all data operations and reporting workstreams globally for a Tier 1 global Omnicom client. You will engage in client conversations as subject matter expert where required, and help with successful scoping, execution, and delivery of the projects
  • Work closely with the MI & local market teams to ensure all projects conform to the Taxonomy, naming conventions and governance best practices set by the global performance reporting team
  • Design functional solutions of data pipelines, data operations, reporting, and underlying data infrastructure as a part of project scoping
  • Support in creating and communicating EMEA standards and best practices for data operations and reporting
  • Work with EMEA country-specific teams to identify their current state of data ops and performance reporting and establish action plans towards a standardised and harmonised way of providing reporting services to Omnicom clients in EMEA
  • Have line-management responsibility for the MI Manager on the account

Additionally, individual objectives are agreed and reviewed on a quarterly basis (as a minimum frequency).  

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  1. Minimum 5 year of experience in running a data operations, media operations, reporting, dashboarding, or a related business intelligence practice
  2. Experience of working in marketing communication companies is highly desirable
  3. Experience in campaign performance reporting or programmatic performance reporting is highly desirable
  4. Proven track record of selling packaged reporting solutions by presenting the solution, demonstrating value and articulating competitive advantage over competitors’ solutions
  5. Strong functional understanding of data and data infrastructure
  6. Strong coordination and operational skills
  7. Ability to coordinate and effectively communicate across a wide range of geographically distributed teams – a master orchestrator
  8. Practical experience with Power BI & power automate is a must
  9. Practical experience with MCI(Datorama), GCP, Starburst preferable

We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working.  Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
