Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to co-lead our Product Development team. You will work closely with the Scrum Master to not only deliver but also direct our technical builds, approach, and prioritisation.

In this role you are eligible for line management responsibilities which can cover UK based Data Engineers who you are expected to help develop and grow or an off-shore Development team whose workload you will be expected to manage.

Are you an experienced developer, data or software engineer with experience working with advertising/media dataset, and a history of creating data pipelines and structures that can be used in front end applications or creating automations that make data work harder? If so this is the role for you!

Qualifications

To bs successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
  • Experience working in a media environment, and with media tools is ideal
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of programming languages (minimum Python & SQL)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL database design
  • Understanding of ETL, serverless and cloud computing (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
