Our proprietary technology platform enables the creation, distribution, and monetisation of digital content experiences. We own and operate leading sports content brands, including Sports Illustrated, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, The Players' Tribune, FanSided, Mental Floss, and 90min, while also providing sports highlight rights through our recent technology acquisition of STN Video.

Reaching over 200 million monthly users, we empower 1,500+ content creators and collaborate with 400+ distribution partners across 14 global markets in 10 languages. We also engage a strong print subscriber base through the publication of Sports Illustrated, Sports Illustrated Swim, and Sports Illustrated Kids.

We are now looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead the analysis and performance reporting for our publishing partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analytical, collaborative, and results-driven professional to join our data team, working across departments to turn data into valuable insights that inform key business decisions.

This role will primarily collaborate with our team in the US, working closely with publishing partners and internal stakeholders across different time zones. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis and performance reporting for our publishing partners, delivering actionable insights to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Work closely with external publishers to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and align on objectives to drive mutual success.
  • Develop detailed reports and interactive dashboards showcasing performance metrics, trends, and recommendations for optimising media campaigns.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to assess the effectiveness of publishing partnerships and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as a key point of contact between Minute Media and external partners, providing insights and strategic guidance.
  • Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes, implementing automation where possible.
  • Own projects end-to-end, including stakeholder requirement gathering, writing efficient queries, and developing robust datasets to support business insights.
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to integrate data sources and track relevant metrics across multiple platforms.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and competitor strategies, particularly within the UK and US media and publishing landscape.
  • Support ad hoc data analysis requests and deep dives into campaign performance as needed.



Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance reporting, ideally within digital media, publishing, or ad tech industries.
  • Strong proficiency in analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and experience working with large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
  • In-depth understanding of digital advertising, media metrics, and campaign performance indicators.
  • Experience collaborating with external publishers, managing relationships, and aligning goals to ensure success.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate raw data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones, as this role will primarily collaborate with teams in the US.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with external publishing partners, media buying, or content distribution platforms.
  • Familiarity with ad tech ecosystems, including programmatic advertising and media partnerships.
  • Advanced proficiency with data visualisation tools and experience implementing automated reporting solutions.
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus.
