Data Analyst – Europe
The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming data into actionable insights, with a strong technical background in data visualization and reporting, particularly using Power BI. You will play a key role in supporting the organization with accurate and meaningful data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize Power BI performance, including dataset preparation and data model improvements.
- Create and manage data models, relationships, and calculations within Power BI.
- Provide technical expertise in data visualization best practices to deliver impactful dashboards.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and error-checking processes.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests using Power BI and other analytical tools.
- Stay updated on new Power BI features and industry trends to continually enhance reporting capabilities.
Key Requirements:
Essential:
- Strong experience in Power BI, including report creation, data modeling, and DAX formulas.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Experience working with large datasets from various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, APIs).
- Proficiency in data cleaning and transformation techniques.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Desirable:
- Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
- Familiarity with SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Knowledge of ETL processes or data warehousing concepts.
- Background in statistical analysis or data science is a plus.
