Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the company with data to drive business solutions.
  • Working on projects including but not limited to Financial Reporting, Product Analysis, Onboarding Funnels, Customer Activity and Churn, Sales Activity and more, turning large quantities of data into insights which can be used to inform decision-making.
  • Effectively managing business stakeholders and driving initiatives to promote actionable insights, identifying and prioritising requirements and owning a roadmap to completion.
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining data models that promote a self-service approach to data consumption. This includes ensuring that data quality within the data warehouse is maintained throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Analysing external customer and internal business data and working with teams across different countries to drive optimisation and improvement of our products.
  • Building predictive models to accurately forecast our numbers and evaluate against a budget and actuals.
  • Building and promoting a data-driven culture across the business through training non-data stakeholders with the goal of increased self-service and better interpretation of data insights

Qualifications

Must have:

  • 4+ years of professional working experience in a Data-related role
  • Deep understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines and the ability to work closely with Data Engineers for product implementation
  • Self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing circumstances quickly
  • Strong Proficiency in SQL and Tableau (or equivalent BI tool)
  • Experience with Data Warehousing concepts, Data Modelling and DBT
  • Proficiency in using Git
  • Familiarity with AWS environment (SageMaker, S3, Redshift) or Snowflake
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of translating complex data into understandable conclusions and recommendations
  • Ability to think creatively and insightfully about business problems

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Machine Learning and Python (time-series analysis, forecasting)
  • Experience with Banking/Finance/Payments data
