Our mission is to bring Clean K-Beauty Innovations, from Korea straight to Europe, UK, and the US – without ever compromising on our values, quality, and sustainability. Our clean, mindfully produced skincare products are made with love in Korea, vegan, cruelty-free, and packed with the best natural and active ingredients.
Founded in 2020 by Sander Joonyoung van Bladel and Veronika Strotmann, Yepoda is a fast-growing beauty start-up based in the heart of Berlin. Our products are available across Europe and, since March 2025, at Sephora Europe – online and in over 250 stores. As a certified B Corp™, we are committed to building a business with purpose. With a team of over 120 brilliant individuals from around the world, we are actively shaping Yepoda’s story every day.
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data team at Yepoda. In this role, you'll shape how we run and scale our operations, building the analytical foundation that powers smarter fulfillment, leaner supply chains, and better customer care.
Own the analytical partnership with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Care & Community Management. Translate ambiguous business questions into scoped problems, drive prioritization with stakeholders up to director level, and push back where needed rather than executing requests as briefed.
Design and maintain the dbt models, tests, and semantic layer that power performance dashboards and KPIs across fulfillment speed, stock accuracy, logistics performance, and service response times. Treat the modelling layer as the source of truth, not the dashboard.
Lead root cause and scenario analyses to identify inefficiencies, simulate process improvements, and recommend optimizations for supply and demand balancing. Take findings from raw signal to a defensible recommendation independently.
Partner with data engineering to scope and stabilize source ingestion from ERP, logistics partners, and customer care systems. Own the analytics layer on top in dbt Cloud, with proper tests, exposures, documentation, and PR discipline in GitHub.
Operate as an active member of the data team alongside data engineering, analytics engineering, and analytics. Contribute to shared modelling standards, code review, and the team's technical roadmap rather than working in isolation on a parallel stack.
Train and enable stakeholders on interpreting insights and using Omni for self-serve, raising the analytical maturity of the business functions you support.
5+ years in data analytics, analytics engineering, or operations analytics within e-commerce, retail, or logistics, with demonstrated delivery on supply chain, logistics, and customer care use cases.
Deep hands-on experience in dbt Cloud. You have built and maintained production models, written tests, managed exposures, and worked with semantic layers.
Strong fundamentals in data warehousing and dimensional modelling. Comfortable discussing grain, fact and dimension design, slowly changing dimensions, and trade-offs between normalized and denormalized structures.
Advanced BigQuery SQL, including window functions, performance tuning, and partitioning and clustering decisions.
Comfortable with Git-based workflows in GitHub for PRs, reviews, and CI.
Proficient in Omni, or able to demonstrate equivalent depth in a comparable modern BI tool such as Looker, Lightdash, or Cube.
Track record of leading stakeholder relationships at senior level: scoping, prioritizing, and challenging requests, not only fulfilling them.
Track record of working effectively inside a data team, partnering with data and analytics engineers on shared infrastructure rather than building parallel solutions.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or OMS systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, or Shopify backend) and their data structures.
Exposure to process mining or operational analytics techniques to identify inefficiencies and optimize workflows.
Experience integrating data from logistics providers, warehouses, or customer support platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Gorgias) into unified reporting environments.
