Job Description

Title: Senior Credit Controller

Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 depending on experience

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm, however, negotiable for the right person.

Tasks:

·Posting all incoming payments and chasing overdue debt.

·Monitor and update sales ledger using the debtors report with comments, call references and dates which the calls were made to keep a detailed log.

·Provide information/copy invoices as requested

·Run debtors listing report weekly – using VLOOKUP formula

·Processing, posting and allocating credit card and cash payments

·Ensuring all invoicing queries are forwarded and resolved by the relevant department

·Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity

·Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary

·Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries

·Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management

·Responsibility for own ledger

·Deal with queries and manage through to resolution

·Account reconciliation

·Take card payments over phone

Personal:

·At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

·General accounts, sales ledger and credit control experience.

·Understanding of the Credit Control Process.

·Able to organise multiple tasks quickly and efficiently

·Excellent telephone and written communication skills.

·Motivated and enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service.

·Experience of working as a strong team player.
