Description

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Copywriter to join our team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract! If you’re a sharp creative conceptual thinker with a passion for crafting words - from punchy headlines to compelling scripts, hashtags, manifestos, UX copy, emails, social posts and everything in between - this role is for you. 


We need someone who can prove their writing chops across multiple social platforms and truly understands the nuances of all things social. Strong communication and presentation skills are a must, as you’ll be expected to pitch, present, and defend ideas with confidence. You should also be comfortable managing client feedback, refining work, and ensuring top-tier creative output. 


While this is a ‘solo creative’ role, you will have the opportunity to pair up with different designers and art directors, as well as work closely with the wider project teams to ensure strategic and creative alignment.  


Beyond writing, we’re looking for someone wih a strategic mindset and brand-building instincts, someone who knows best practices inside out and has experience in TTL campaigns. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop campaign ideas with a strategic approach, ensuring messaging is clear, impactful, and aligned with brand goals. 
  • Craft compelling headlines and scripts tailored to different platforms and a variety of clients. 
  • Write and refine engaging copy for social media, including Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring it resonates with the audience. 
  • Optimize social media content - language, tone, and message - based on audience insights and platform best practices. 
  • Collaborate with the insights team to track and analyze social media performance, including traffic, engagement, shares, and conversion rates. 
  • Serve as a key resource for social media managers, offering ongoing feedback and ensuring high-quality copy across all clients, even beyond direct project involvement. 
  • Leverage advertising techniques such as promotions and competitions to boost brand visibility and engagement. 
  • Lead client discussions with confidence, shaping tone of voice, brand messaging, and creative direction. 
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Copywriter, Copywriter or Senior Creative, with a strong conceptual and strategic mindset. 
  • A background in creative agencies is preferred, ideally with strong experience in digital and social. Whether you've worked in fully digital/social agencies or had significant stints in these spaces, we’re looking for someone who understands the landscape and knows how to craft impactful work for online audiences. 
  • High level conceptual campaign thinking with a strategic mindset. 
  • Hands-on experience with developing scripts, taglines, headlines and hashtags. 
  • Hands-on experience creating and optimizing social media content across multiple platforms. 
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, best practices, and platform-specific nuances. 
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and performance-driven content strategies. 
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives across various formats, including text, image, and video. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
