About the Role:

As a Senior Content Strategist, you will be part of our growing Organic Performance team, working closely with account leads and our Innovation Hub. You’ll lead the development and delivery of performance-driven content strategies across SEO, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Digital PR and user experience.

Acting as a central point of contact for content across your accounts, you’ll shape strategic direction, oversee execution, and ensure all activity drives measurable business outcomes. This is a leadership role where you will champion the impact of content on digital performance while helping evolve our wider content offering

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of SEO and GEO-led content strategies across key client accounts

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all content-related activity, building strong client and stakeholder relationships

  • Deliver data-led insights, including content audits, competitor analysis and strategic recommendations

  • Oversee end-to-end content production, from briefing through to delivery and performance analysis

  • Drive Digital PR and off-site SEO initiatives, including link earning and thought leadership

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. paid media, strategy, influencer, UX) to deliver integrated campaigns

  • Project manage content workstreams, including mentoring junior team members

  • Partner with Innovation Hub teams to develop and implement AI-assisted content workflows

  • Monitor, analyse and report on content performance, using insights to optimise future strategies

  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and champion new approaches to content across the agency

About You:

  • Proven experience developing and delivering end-to-end content strategies

  • Strong understanding of SEO (GEO knowledge is a plus) and how content drives performance

  • Excellent copywriting and editorial skills, with the ability to turn insights into clear recommendations

  • Confident communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong analytical mindset, with experience using data to inform decisions and measure success

  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of Digital PR, UX, and how they contribute to content performance

  • Proactive and innovative, with an interest in emerging trends including AI in content creation

  • Experience with organic social and its role within the wider search landscape is desirable

Flexible Working

We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working.  Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
