Our mission at Duolingo is to develop the best education in the world and make it universally available. It’s a big mission, and even though we've made a lot of headway, we still have work to do — and that’s where you come in!

Duolingo’s designers care about creating high-quality experiences that look and feel fun. From animators to writers, product designers to researchers, Design brings purpose, feeling, and delight to every interaction with our brand, inside the app and out. As a designer, you’ll join a culture of creativity and craft, where we have a high bar for excellence and an endless curiosity about how to bring more unexpected quirk and fun to the pursuit of learning.

Join us in our mission to develop education for our half a billion (and growing!) learners around the world.

About the role...

We’re looking for a Senior Content Producer to:

  • Lead audio operations within our Music course
  • Collaborate with Game Designers and Product Managers to curate the music lesson experience
  • Manage our Sound Designers, and lead the discipline of tuning game difficulty
  • Work with vendors and labels to license music that will engage our learners

🧠  You will...

  • Embed on the team responsible for our music course, working closely with Product Managers, Sound Designers, and Product Designers
  • Own and maintain rights/clearances for music and audio assets in partnership with Business Development Team and Legal, including usage terms, licenses, and renewals
  • Work with cross-functional partners (Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing) to establish project requirements through briefs and project plans
  • Drive day-to-day production: managing teams and/or vendors, leading kick-offs, running weekly syncs, tracking timelines and budgets, compiling feedback, striving for clarity, and communicating status updates to stakeholders
  • Remove roadblocks and drive progress
  • Create efficiencies: implementing scalable & repeatable processes, improving team rhythm/collaboration/communication, recording and sharing learnings along the way
  • Partner with Product and Design to integrate audio into features and learning moments; provide and gather clear feedback to move work forward.

✅  You have...

  • 5+ years hands‑on audio production experience across VO, music, or sound design for consumer apps, games, or brand content, including vendor and talent management.
  • A track record of operating independently in a fast-paced environment
  • A meticulous sense of organization, with a passion for operational excellence
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with creative, product, legal, and external partners; ability to give and receive actionable feedback.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Working knowledge of music/licensing, rights management, and clearance workflows in partnership with Legal.
  • Ability to work from or relocate to London, UK

⭐  Exceptional candidates will have...

  • Experience producing audio for mobile learning, games, or interactive products, partnering directly with product/design teams.
  • A network of global audio partners and experience scaling multi‑market deliveries/localization.
  • Depth in music supervision or note-tracking/beat‑mapping workflows and practical experience negotiating licenses.
  • Comfort establishing sonic brand guidelines and QA checklists to ensure consistency across channels.
  • Experience measuring creative impact and turning wins into templates and best practices.
