What the Role Entails

As a Senior Manager specialized in Quantitative research you will leverage your expertise in research design and data analysis to extract actionable insights that can support top profile games (both live and in production).   Your day-to-day activities vary; and you will deliver recommendations based on your knowledge and findings to a large array of internal specialists: publishing teams, game creation teams, product & brand marketing; etc:

Your everyday missions will include:

  • Liaise with internal departments to gather their research needs and provide appropriate quantitative research solutions
  • Translate business needs into research plans and develop questionnaires that meet the objectives of the study
  • Conduct market analysis for any upcoming games, using data analytics tools
  • Manage a project from A to Z with the support of internal and external toolsets
  • Support top profile game by providing suggestions for optimization, iteration, and polishing on game’s relating businesses in the globe, and help to formulate publishing strategy
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, and provide recommendations tailored to different departments and levels
  • Write clear, inspiring and actionable insight stories for stakeholders using data support
  • Stay up to date with developments in the mobile and PC/console game industry and beyond with particular attention to trends, social media, consumer behavior, and data/analytics
  • Champion consumer research across the company and foster a culture of decision-making based on consumer needs
  • Work in an agile and international environment
  • This role is both client facing and expected to conduct research independently

Who We Look For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quantitative market and user research, with proficiency in various primary research methods and utilization of third-party databases.
  • Background from a market research agency or a video gaming company
  • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree or higher in experimental/social/cognitive psychology, or any quantitative field
  • Extensive experience in conducting quant research and analysis from A to Z
  • Strong proficiency in statistics software tools such as SPSS or Q
  • Extensive experience in managing large data sets and multi country research
  • Proficiency in Office software, including PPT and Excel.
  • Demonstrate strong learning ability, effective communication skills, self-motivation, teamwork, self-management, and execution skills.
  • Possess an open-minded and innovative mindset, accepting challenges and capable of multitasking.
  • Preferred experience in advanced analytics (market sizing, segmentation, pricing strategy, marketing mixed modelling etc)
  • A genuine passion for gaming, keeping up-to-date with a wide range of genres and platforms is a plus
