Nous Data Insights is seeking a talented Senior Consultant to drive insights for universities across the UK and Ireland. If you're passionate about helping clients solve complex problems using sophisticated data and insight, excel at relationship management, and have a mind for continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!

In this position, you will have a key role in developing exec-ready reports and presentations based on high-powered analysis of UniForum benchmarking data. Consult with clients directly throughout data collection and report development cycle and help to shape and drive interactive roundtable and conference events for universities. You will contribute to the development of Nous Data Insights' intellectual property and support the generation of new business.

As a Senior Consultant, you will: 

  • Design and deliver analysis to support Nous Data Insights activities for UK and Irish clients
  • Support the data collection process, working with leads at each university to align with Nous Data Insights methodology
  • Conduct analysis, generate insight and develop client reports including university executive briefings, services reviews, roundtable study reports and annual conferences
  • Assist in leading the delivery and facilitation of client presentations, workshops and events
  • Lead the development of best practice case studies
  • Contribute to new applications of UniForum data that generate insight for clients
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of our processes, systems and ways of working
  • Develop specialist expertise within areas of Nous Data Insights IP and business processes and contribute to the development of new knowledge that supports the regional and global business
  • Contribute to the management of individual client relationships by building productive relationships, including with university Programme Managers and function leaders.

A bit about you:

  • 2 or more years’ experience in a consulting, analytical, research management or professional services role involving project-based working with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong academic background, with a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably one with a strong focus on quantitative analysis
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Relationship builder contributing to new and/or existing client development opportunities and delivering outstanding service
  • Experience in corporate services transformations, service improvement programs, back-office process and operating model redesign (preferred)
  • Proficient with using business intelligence tools and data analysis to test hypotheses and identify data quality issues and unexpected changes
  • Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and experience in project coordination
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets (preferred)
  • Familiar with the software development lifecycle (preferred).

This is a full-time role, available on a hybrid basis with lots of scope for flexible working with the expectation of weekly travel to the central London office.
