Job Summary: As a Senior Consultant, Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing technology projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Team Collaboration:
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including developers, engineers, QA, and business analysts.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Communicate project expectations, progress, and changes to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
Technology Integration:
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives.
- Understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project success.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Implement best practices for project management and technology integration.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology projects.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
