We work with major sports and events rights holders, brand sponsors, teams, leagues, venues, and talent to create unique sponsorship marketing platforms, content, experiences, and brand activations that engage fans and drive business and brand outcomes. 

Due to growth, we’re looking for a Senior Brand & Communications Strategist to join our team in Melbourne and help shape and deliver communication and content strategies for leading brands in the sports and entertainment space. This is a storytelling role grounded in PR moments and underpinned by bold strategies and deep audience insights for maximum impact.​

You will collaborate with internal teams and external media partners to develop and execute highly engaging content and talent/ambassador strategies across various media touchpoints, with a strong emphasis on social media platforms. Your expertise is in big-picture thinking, storytelling, with a finger on the pulse of sport and culture, helping our clients connect authentically with audiences, drive engagement, and create shareable moments that resonate.

Core responsibilities:

  • Craft authentic, compelling narratives that connect emotionally with fans and audiences through PR moments.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (media relations, creative, strategy, and activation) and external partners (publishers) to provide consultative guidance and produce bold, impactful campaigns.

  • Apply data and insights to evaluate effectiveness and fine-tune PR strategies. Maximise audience engagement through platform insights, algorithms, and the latest behavioural trends.

  • Lead on content strategies by creating and executing high-impact social content campaigns across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Meta, X, and emerging channels.

  • Identify and collaborate with talent and influencer agents and managers to engage the right voices and amplify campaigns.

A bit about you:

This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of content strategy, social media innovation, and influencer partnerships. The successful candidate will have a proven background in:

  • Leading effective PR campaigns. You bring strategic thinking with the ability to convert insights into actionable communication plans.

  • Sports and entertainment marketing, focused on storytelling and audience engagement.​

  • Creating great relationships, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to effectively engage with influencers/talent/athletes. You’re able to leverage relationships to oversee high-profile projects, amplify brand campaigns, and advise on best practices.

  • Strong presentation and communication abilities, with a collaborative, cross-functional approach.​
