About the Role

The Commercial Partnerships Manager is responsible for engaging with agencies and intermediaries and STMJ to support and close specific opportunities that maximize commercial sales and exceed annual sales targets.  The role will also be responsible for supporting all sales and editorial compliance processes, whilst consulting with STMJ publishers, compliance and our commercial agents and intermediary partners.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities that align with our strategic goals.

  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners to maximize value and drive growth.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership initiatives.

  • Monitor and analyze partnership performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven experience in a senior partnership or business development role, preferably within a similar industry.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
