  • Edit commercial content remotely, in-office, and onsite at sporting events.
  • Deliver content for global distribution, using advanced skills in JPEG and RAW workflows, photo editing software, metadata application, and FTP management.
  • Ensure timely uploads of images to multiple platforms, including websites and client destinations.
  • Create and manage briefs for commercial portraiture and client-specific tasks.
  • Commercial Projects:
  • Manage the editing requirements for commercial projects.
  • Assist in the organisation and planning of commercial portrait projects, including logistics and equipment coordination.
  • Participate in client briefing calls to establish delivery schedules and workflows.
  • Create and implement detailed photography/editing briefs and testing processes for each project.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, answering editing queries, providing updates, and managing timelines for uploads.
  • Lead and mentor a team of editors on headshot projects, ensuring workflow consistency and high-quality results.
  • Drive training initiatives to upskill editors in headshot workflows, expanding team expertise.
  • Lead client discussions and manage relationships with key internal and external partners.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the technology team to maintain server functionality, addressing technical needs such as hardware updates and efficiency improvements.
  • Actively research and integrate new technologies to improve workflow efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Train and mentor freelance editors, ensuring adherence to company standards for image transmission, quality, captioning, and delivery.
  • Provide feedback on editing processes and workflow improvements to enhance team performance.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring exceptional customer service for both editorial and client-driven assignments.
  • Serve as the key liaison during commercial workflows, ensuring client needs are consistently met.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting respect, open communication, and a positive work culture where all team members feel valued and supported.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong editing skills with expertise in RAW workflows, photo editing, and metadata management.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and client service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and perform well under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure smooth workflows and resolve technical challenges.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including evenings and weekends (valid passport required).
