Job Summary

As Senior Director of Global Accounts you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy aimed at building long-term relationships with Agency Holding Companies HQs and large advertisers with global footprint to drive sales growth and customer engagement. You will be reporting into the VP of Comcast Advertising International Media Sales and you will be the leader and face of the Global Agencies and Advertisers team, ensuring that the team executes against the short and long-term objectives of Comcast Advertising Media Sales International. You will work closely with NBC and other CMCSA leader to ensure highest collaboration standards.​

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead and drive the performance of a sales team - Senior Sales and Account Executives - ensuring they are focused on executing the sales and partnership strategy and build long term relationship with C-level and Director level contacts within EU offices of global Agencies and Advertisers .

  • Act as player/coach and be a hands-on leader that encourages sales excellence and leads by example

  • Develop and execute sales growth and customer engagement strategy for Agency Holding Companies and large advertisers

  • Identify short term opportunities with Agency Holding Company HQs and CMOs to help the Regional Comcast Advertising International Sales teams to meet their revenue objectives

  • Coordinating and facilitating the business relationship between Comcast Advertising International and NBCU and Sky

  • Monitor, review and measure effectiveness of Agencies and Advertisers sales strategies and initiatives

  • Analyse buying trends and advertisers’ preferences

  • Execute on quantitative and qualitative objectives set by Company’s leadership team which will guide your go to market approach

  • Collaborate with local sales leads, sales marketing and AdOps

  • Collaborate with Comcast Advertising International local sales leads to ensure successful execution of global sales strategy with Agency Holding Companies and large advertisers

  • Work closely with Freewheel Supply Leads to build and monetize local and regional marketplaces

Technical Skills & Aptitude

  • Min 10 years of sales and leadership experience in Digital Advertising working with Global Agencies and/or global Advertisers. A background selling video or TV media solutions (Broadcaster, publisher, SSP, Ad-network) will be an advantage

  • Highly motivated senior leader that has a proven track record in all aspects of developing and managing global sales strategies

  • Proven experience in building long term business relationships with C-suite audiences

  • Excellent people skills with the ability to lead, motivate, performance manage and retain staff

  • Ability to work cross functionally, managing multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Additional European languages and experience in international media sales would be a plus
