Job Level: Senior Manager Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Development Manager within the eCommerce Centre of Excellence. This role is central to shaping, advancing and executing our commercial go to market strategy across one of the most strategic and future focused areas of the LEGO Group.

You will balance short term needs with long term ambition, continuously evaluating performance, risks and opportunities across the ecommerce landscape. You will lead data driven conversations with senior stakeholders, secure alignment on strategy and enable strong commercial execution across markets and functions.

Please note: This position can be based in our LEGO® Office in London or Grasbrunn, close to Munich and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely. Relocation support is not offered.

The Western Europe Region is the largest Market Group within the LEGO Group, covering 16 countries. As Commercial Development Manager you will be a key member of both the Regional Commercial Development Team and the eCommerce Centre of Excellence. You will play a critical role in enabling the LEGO Group to make informed strategic choices, drive consistent commercial standards and realise the full potential of ecommerce across the region.

You will bring an analytical mindset combined with strong stakeholder management and the ability to work confidently across diverse teams. You will influence commercial thinking, promote best practice and help shape the future of ecommerce within the organization.

Core responsibilities

• Lead and deploy the full scope of Commercial Development activities for the eCommerce Centre of Excellence, including Year minus one planning, performance management, customer business planning, portfolio deployment, revenue management and sales tool adoption.
• Partner with the Centre of Excellence leadership team to shape the commercial strategy, acting as a trusted advisor and bringing forward best practice from the wider organisation and global teams.
• Drive regional commercial priorities across ecommerce, ensuring alignment with the broader Commercial Development agenda and successful adoption in local markets.
• Work closely with subject matter experts to develop and refine approaches to channel performance, portfolio deployment, rare items strategy and revenue growth.
• Represent Commercial Development within cross functional leadership forums related to ecommerce and collaborate with market and channel leads to ensure execution in line with strategic intent.
• Maintain strong understanding of ecommerce trends, customer expectations and competitive dynamics in order to guide decision making and support forward looking planning.
• Influence commercial direction across the ecommerce channel through thought leadership, strategic challenge and strong partnerships.

Do you have what it takes?

• University degree and 10 years commercial experience preferred.
• Strong track record in commercial or account management roles, ideally with significant ecommerce responsibility.
• Experience within a large international organisation or complex retail environment, with proven ability to develop sales processes and governance.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial frameworks and develop scenarios that guide investment decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple functions and levels, with experience leading complex projects.
• Strategic thinker who enjoys solving challenges and thrives in ambiguity.
• Strong analytical capability with a history of translating insights into commercial action.
• Passion for innovation, creativity and change, especially within the evolving ecommerce landscape.
• Proactive mindset focused on unlocking opportunities and mitigating challenges.
• Proficient English.
