As Senior Commercial Analyst for SkyShowtime, you will play a key part in shaping how the business understands, forecasts, and optimises performance across the customer lifecycle. As Senior Commercial Analyst for SkyShowtime, you will play a key part in shaping how the business understands, forecasts, and optimises performance across the customer lifecycle. You’ll operate as a commercial business partner for our Marketing teams, owning complex analysis, scenario modelling, and performance deep dives that directly inform decision-making. You’ll be trusted to make recommendations, challenge assumptions, and influence trading and marketing strategy across the SkyShowtime footprint.
You’ll also help scale the team’s analytical capability, improving the consistency, efficiency, and impact of performance insights, while supporting the development of junior analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analytical Frameworks & Insight Generation: Design, build, and continuously improve robust analytical frameworks and models that enable performance insights across customer lifecycle. Lead complex analyses to identify key drivers, trends, and opportunities across cohort and markets.
- Commercial Scenario Modelling: Execute scenario modelling to assess the impact of promotions, and proposition changes, balancing subscriber growth and revenue outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Support marketing teams with budget tracking, performance evaluation, and efficiency analysis, helping to optimise spend across channels and regions. Identify opportunities to improve ROI and effectiveness through data-led insight and experimentation.
- Marketing Performance & Efficiency: Work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver data, insights, visualisations, and actionable recommendations.
- Reporting, Visualisation & Standardisation: Develop and maintain high-quality dashboards and performance outputs. Establish best-practice templates and standards to ensure insights are consistent, scalable, and decision ready.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in commercial, trading, or performance analytics, ideally within a D2C subscription-based business or the media industry.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in undertaking in-depth analysis and modelling.
- Proven ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills including to senior stakeholders.
- Proactive with high attention to detail, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Tableau, Amplitude, PowerBI or similar is preferred.
- Must be fluent in English with excellent oral and writing skills. Additional European language capabilities are a plus.
Where You'll Work
- To maximise the benefits of team collaboration we operate a hybrid working model, with the team office based 2-3 days per week. We ask team members to be in the office but offering flexibility is a core value of our team and business.
- Your primary base will be in Osterley, on the Sky campus, a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Free shuttle buses are available, running to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. On-site parking, bike shelters and showers/changing facilities are also available.
