Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

This role is hybrid, 3 days per week in our offices at Parkwest Business Park, Dublin.

The Opportunity:
You will leverage your deep AWS/Cloud expertise to guide and shape the technical direction of new projects. You’ll be involved in all aspects, from helping us define and implement AWS/Cloud infrastructure best practices, evaluating different approaches, to hands in implementation, and planning continuous improvements. Tech stack:
Currently were using Terraform, CloudFront, S3, EC2, DirectConnect, ECS, EKS, HELM, Code Deploy, Jenkins, AmazonLinux, Packer, Redshift, RDS, Route53, AWS Lambda, etc. BUT, we are open to use new technologies that can allow us to implement even better solutions!

What we can offer you:

• You will work in our Wizards team, being involved in making reality new cloud first projects and the different phases of migrating our still onprem applications.

• Interact with our Architecture, Development, DBA and Infrastructure teams to help us define interoperability across systems and processes.

• Define any changes needed in our continuous deployment, system and reliability practices, bring a “true best practice” approach to play.

• Work with a cross functional agile deployment team.

• Maintenance and continuous improvement of our systems.

• Troubleshoot and optimize scripts written in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages used in CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and cloud operations.

What you will bring:

• Experience in AWS and cloud technologies.

• Experience in working with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation).

• You will be someone that has applied software dev practices to infrastructure deployment.

• Experience migrating from hosted traditional stack to a cloud-based stack.

• Experience developing docker solutions.

• An appetite for discovering new solutions, helping others and constant improvement.
