The Manager will join a team looking after a proprietary media investment reporting platform working on a single client. This role will involve data goverance and QA, issue triaging and supporting the director leading the team to ensure the media investment data is compliant and accurate. Later, once more familiar with the platform and market stakeholders, this role will more independently speak for the team, and resolve issues themselves collaborating with the internal team and the wider global team.
The Marketing Intelligence and Reporting team in EMEA works very closely with the US Marketing Intelligence team and the Annalect India team to deliver scalable solutions at a global level.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a smart and confident candidate that’s either currently a strong senior analyst or BI Manager, with a good understanding of media advertising and the media landscape. The Data Operations & Reporting Manager will support an MI Director with all data operations and governance workstream for media investment for one of Omnicom’s largest global autotive clients and work closely with the wider data operations and reporting team and global client team.

This role will ensure media investment data is best-in-class for compliance and accuracy for one our our largest accounts within Omnicom Media Group and will be reporting into the Senior Marketing Intelligence and Reporting Director.

Communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks across projects to meet deadlines are important and we need someone with a logical approach to problem solving and strong attention to detail. An independent self-starter you will be able to quickly establish credible relationships within the team.

You will have experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge. The ability to investigate, collaborate and simplify complex solutions is crucial for the success of this role as is the ability to prioritise initiatives that drive most value and impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing and improving the existing data governance processes
  • Further automate and integrate with compliance with local markets
  • You will be part of both the governance and client teams which uses the media investment data in reporting and data tools to provide visibility of our global media investment data to our clients and stakeholders
  • Build, maintain and develop the platform according to client specifications to enable media investment plans to be captured and shared
  • Leading the integration of local and global business logic into the the templates.
  • Ensure a high level of data governance and accuracy across all markets
  • Produce recommendations based on findings
  • Feedback any highlights/concerns to the team

Work closely with wider MI & R and client teams such as reporting and media specialists

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in data operations, reporting, or a related business intelligence practice
  2. Ideally have a media/ digital advertising background who understands media and can relate that to the media investment plans
  3. Experience of working on data governance and/ or QA processes
  4. Clear communicator in English: verbal and written.
  5. At ease working to fast turnaround times
  6. Strong functional understanding of data and data infrastructure
  7. Strong coordination and operational skills
  8. Curious / investigative nature
  9. Highly organized and able to manage their own time to meet deadlines across multiple work streams.
  10. Practical experience with one or more of Tableau, Power BI, MCI (Datorama), Alteryx beneficial but not essential for the role

Flexible Working

For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
