Your mission as a Client Relations Lead

Appinio is looking for a smart, driven, and experienced Client Relations Lead – UK with a strong background in selling and advising high-profile clients on market research services. This role is a key part of our continued expansion in the UK, working closely with our Managing Director UK to build key client relationships and establish Appinio as a leader in actionable, quantitative research.

 

You will work closely with senior decision-makers at enterprises, helping them navigate their research needs with tailored, data-driven solutions. Your deep expertise in market research and consultative sales will be essential to driving long-term partnerships and expanding Appinio’s footprint in the UK.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will sell Appinio’s quantitative research services to key stakeholders in marketing, insights, and strategy teams.
  • You will own the entire sales cycle – from prospecting to closing, using a strategic, consultative approach to demonstrate the value of our solutions. 
  • You will build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers in marketing, strategy, and research at multinational companies, understanding their challenges and positioning Appinio as their trusted research partner.
  • You will lead high-impact sales presentations and pitch proposals, effectively communicating Appinio’s unique value proposition.
  • You will advise clients on the most effective research solutions to address their business challenges and drive data-driven decisions
  • You will develop and maintain a strong network within relevant industries , identifying new opportunities.
  • You will represent Appinio at key industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and positioning us as a thought leader
  • You will contribute to the overall UK sales strategy, identifying new growth opportunities and continuously refining the sales approach. 

You will thrive in this role if

  • You have extensive experience in selling and advising on market research services, with a strong understanding of quantitative methodologies and their role in solving business challenges 
  • You have at least 8 years of experience in B2B sales, with the majority spent within the quantitative market research space
  • You have a proven track record of managing and growing key client accounts, building long-term partnerships in market research.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage company environment where you can impact processes and drive impact.
  • You are a self-starter, able to drive your own pipeline development through client engagement, proactive outreach, and industry networking.
  • You possess strong CRM expertise, preferably in Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • You are empathetic, adaptable, and highly attuned to the needs of your clients, ensuring impactful customer experiences and long-term success.
