We’re hiring for a OOH Senior Manager (Media Planning & Buying) to join our OOH team in London.

Purpose of the Role

This role is within the Planning & Buying Department in the dentsu OOH team. Dentsu the agencies it covers – Carat, iProspect and dentsuX - is recognised as one of the largest billing agencies for OOH media partners, with further potential for growth. The Senior Manager will be given exposure to senior internal contacts and external clients across a range of market leading household-name global and UK advertisers.

As a part of Dentsu, we work side by side with the agency comms planners and leads, and we are seen as an extension of client teams which is a unique benefit of working in the dentsu OOH team. It means we get close exposure to client challenges, new business opportunities and a voice to build direct client relationships.

The Senior Manager is responsible for leading and owning key client relationships, delivering high-quality OOH solutions that meets client, business, and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for receiving, interrogating and responding to OOH briefs that meet client campaign objectives / KPIs and with the required detail e.g. plans, rationale documents, and identifying opportunities for organic growth alongside the Planning & Buying Director’s & OOH Agency Partner.

  • Responsible for managing relationships on specified clients and working with the Planning & Buying Directors and OOH Agency Partner to ensure consistent and appropriate communication.

  • Responsible for working with all relevant media owners to ensure working relationships and practices are as effective and efficient as possible to deliver specific agency targets and organic growth opportunities.

  • Responsible for managing direct reports effectively and developing them to their full potential.

  • Responsible for identifying and ensuring that great work and lessons learnt in your client base are captured and shared across P&B/Marketing/PR.  Work with Marketing/Multiply/Agency Partner to use this information to develop opportunities for growth

Qualifications + Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent leadership skills to motivate and coach the team.

  • Strong relationship builder to manage the day to day working interactions with media owner partners and agency/client contacts.

  • Excellent OOH knowledge and broad experience of planning and buying, including the application of all industry and internal planning and administration tools.

  • Strong project management skills to handle a high volume of work and allocate resource and work type in the most efficient and effective way.

  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills to ensure all campaign KPIs and commercial targets are delivered.

  • The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office 2-3 days per week across Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
