Project Execution and Construction Management
- Lead and supervise CSA construction activities to ensure safe, timely, and quality execution at the site.
- Ensure works are accomplished strictly in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, Micron standards, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance, and advance risks or deviations with proposed mitigation actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, and coordination meetings with contractors and collaborators.
Design Evaluation and Technical Collaboration
- Coordinate with A&E consultants, contractors, internal users, facilities teams, utilities providers, and local authorities to resolve technical and interface issues.
- Provide CSA technical input during concept design, detailed design, tender, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Ensure design and construction solutions align with building codes, fire safety requirements, accessibility standards, authority conditions, and Micron engineering requirements.
Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Verify CSA construction quality against approved specifications, standards, inspection requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Track non-conformances, punch lists, defects, and corrective actions through closure.
- Support testing, commissioning, as-built documentation, handover, and project close-out activities.
Safety, Environmental and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure CSA activities align with EHS requirements, permit-to-work controls, and site safety procedures.
- Review high-risk construction activities, work methods, job hazard analyses, and mitigation plans before execution.
- Support internal, corporate, customer, and RBA-related audits by providing CSA technical clarification and evidence of compliance.
- Ensure adherence to local authority requirements, UBBL, fire code, accessibility standards, environmental requirements, applicable regulations.
Contractor, Procurement and Commercial Support
- Support tender clarification, technical evaluation, contractor selection, and recommendation processes.
- Prepare and review CSA scope of work, bid packages, technical specifications, construction deliverables, and interface requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, contracts, and vendors for contractor onboarding, material sourcing, technical clarification, and delivery tracking.
- Monitor contractor performance, labor, productivity, deliverables, progress claims, and close-out obligations.
Facilities Maintenance, Reliability and Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain inspection procedures, maintenance standards, and asset condition assessment plans for CSA systems.
- Plan and complete repairs, renovation works, infrastructure upgrades, and reliability improvement programs.
- Manage CSA maintenance budgets, expenditure tracking, and cost-control initiatives.
- Improve building reliability, maintainability, serviceability, and lifecycle cost performance through data-driven improvement actions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Relevant 5+ years of experience in industrial, semiconductor, greenfield, brownfield, construction, or facilities projects.
- Solid understanding of CSA design, construction methods, building codes, UBBL, fire safety, accessibility standards, and authority requirements.
- Ability to review drawings, specifications, calculations, method statements, technical submittals, and construction deliverables.
- Strong project management, contractor management, collaborator coordination, cost, schedule, quality, and risk control capability.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, Bluebeam, or similar design review and documentation software.
- Strong ownership, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Proactive, diligent, safety-focused, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced construction or facilities environment.
- Good proficiency in AI tools and AI-enabled ways of working to improve efficiency, productivity, and decision-making.
