At CSC we are looking for a CDD Quality Control Specialist / Senior CDD Quality Specialist to join our specialized CDD team.
Within CSC we have the opportunity for both investigations within the scope of the Wwft as well as investigations within WTT 2018. Therefore, we are looking for both experienced QCs within the WTT scope as well as starting QCs who want to grow within the organization and in complexity.
As a CDD Quality Control Specialist or Senior CDD Quality Control Specialist (depending on your seniority level) you are involved in maintaining the global quality assurance framework and develop and maintain all elements necessary to ensure and to improve the quality of CSC's adherence to the Client Due Diligence requirements. As a CDD Quality Control Specialist or Senior CDD Quality Specialist, you have a major role in maintaining the CSC's reputation and minimizing risks.
Some of the things you'll be doing
- Several years of relevant experience in the financial services sector, specializing in Client Due Diligence and client risk assessment, ideally within a Dutch corporate service provider regulated under the WTT or as Quality Control Specialist within a regulated Dutch financial institution
- In-depth knowledge of the laws and regulations governing trust offices, including WTT 2018, Wwft, and Sanction Law 1977
- Preferably, a bachelor's degree in economics, Law, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Exceptional writing skills, able to convey complex topics in a clear and understandable manner
- Strong analytical abilities to identify risks, outline mitigating factors, and propose appropriate risk mitigation measures
- Accuracy and attention to detail to identify anomalies from the applicable laws, regulations and/or Procedures Manuals quickly and effectively
- Solid stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in evaluating complex documentation, legal structures, and tax frameworks
- Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues of various departments
- A proactive team player, eager to take on challenges and support others in doing the same
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Conducts quality reviews of Risk Assessments and actively suggests improvements
- Provides advice and support to client teams, particularly CDD officers, on assessing and mitigating Client Risks
- Ensures consistent quality in risk assessments by collaborating with both client teams and the risk and compliance department
- Tracks timelines and monitors the progress of quality checks for risk assessments
- Participates in the development, refinement, and maintenance of procedures, templates, and other relevant materials
- Promotes a culture of risk awareness and contributes to the development of a strong CDD culture
- Takes responsibility for designing training content, sharing knowledge, and educating stakeholders
