About Bolt Insight

Bolt Insight is a B2B SaaS consumer research platform serving global FMCG/CPG brands and agencies. With the Bolt 2.0 relaunch, we are building a suite-based platform across research, simulation and analytics, powered by Bolt IQ, our AI layer. Our research teams are our most demanding users and the people who deliver the platform’s value to clients every day. Getting the platform right for them is a strategic priority.

The Role

We are looking for a seasoned, high-energy business development leader to build and run our outbound engine. You will own lead generation from first prospecting touch through to nurture, create qualified pipeline from scratch, and train others to do the same.

You will sit within the Business Development team and report to our Chief Client Officer, balancing your own pipeline with developing the team.

What You’ll Do

Own the pipeline from prospect to nurture

  • Identify, research and engage prospects across global markets, without relying on inbound

  • Run structured, multi-touch outreach across email and LinkedIn using sales automation tools such as Amplemarket

  • Find the right ICPs for demo calls, qualify them, and hand over sales qualified leads (SQLs) to the Sales team

  • Nurture the leads that aren’t ready yet until they are

  • Test messaging, track what converts, and keep every record clean in the CRM

Know our buyers

  • Build deep fluency in our core market research ICPs and their priorities

  • Tailor outreach and conversations to each audience

Activate conferences before we arrive

  • Identify attendees, speakers and target accounts at upcoming industry conferences worldwide

  • Invite them to Bolt’s dinners, roundtables and community activities around the event

  • Warm up leads in advance, so that on-site conversations start as meetings, not introductions

  • Follow up after the event and convert engagement into SQLs

Build community

  • Partner with Marketing to create small-format gatherings such as client dinners, roundtables and on-site trainings

  • Turn the best ideas into repeatable formats

Lead and develop

  • Manage, coach and train junior business development team members

  • Build playbooks and onboarding that make the team faster and more consistent

  • Adapt and apply the same systems in the UK and Singapore as we grow

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years in B2B business development or sales, ideally within market research, insights, agency or SaaS

  • A proven record of generating your own pipeline

  • Hands-on experience with outreach automation tools and a CRM (HubSpot)

  • Experience managing or coaching junior colleagues

  • Credibility and presence with senior client stakeholders

  • A systematic mindset: you build processes, not just pipeline

  • Energy, resilience and a willingness to travel to key events when needed
