Job Summary

As a Luxury Travel Senior Business Development Manager at HBX Group, you will be the strategic partner and trusted advisor for our most influential luxury travel clients. Your mission is to acquire and strengthen relationships, curate tailored growth strategies, and maximize opportunities across our luxury portfolio. By leveraging data insights and cross-functional collaboration, you will drive revenue, profitability, and innovation in a dynamic global market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build, manage, and develop long-term partnerships with high-profile luxury travel clients, acting as their go-to expert.
  • Strategic Growth: Analyze performance data and client business plans to create ambitious, customized strategies that drive mutual growth.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Develop and track commercial agreements that increase sales, profitability, and product adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Retail, Pricing, Marketing, CTS, Operations) to optimize technical connections, pricing, and marketing campaigns.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to review progress, share insights, and co-create initiatives.
  • Innovation & Adaptability: Introduce new initiatives to meet evolving client and market needs while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all activities adhere to compliance standards and deliver accurate reporting on performance and strategy execution.

Skillset and Experience Required

Professional Expertise

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in senior sales or account management roles within the travel industry, specifically in luxury retail, with proven success managing high-profile accounts.
  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to design and execute complex growth strategies, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable results.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L, pricing strategies, and profitability drivers.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools; experience with Tableau, Salesforce, and Salesloft is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Comfortable discussing technical integrations (APIs) and collaborating with tech teams to optimize client solutions.

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging senior-level stakeholders and delivering persuasive proposals.
  • Skilled negotiator with strong influencing abilities to secure commercial agreements and drive behavioral changes in client buying habits.
  • Ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with C-suites and decision-makers in the luxury travel sector.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting to market changes.
  • Comfortable with international travel and representing the brand at industry events.

Education & Languages

  • Degree in Business, Sales, or Travel & Tourism or similar.
  • Fluent English (essential) and proficiency in a source market language (highly valued).
