That’s why we’re seeking a skilled Sr. Business Developer to acquire and manage new client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B SaaS ecommerce product sales, as well as skills related to strategic analysis and marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with our clients, negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- As a Sales executive for Anchanto’s products (OMS and WMS) focused on Enterprise segment, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote growth and shape the future of SaaS products for eCommerce players in the Retail and Logistics sector. We will rely on you to partner with our sales and marketing department to conduct market research and develop a strategic business development plan.
- This role will directly reports to the Anchanto’s Country Head in the United Kingdom.

Job Description:
- Direct software sales to enterprises (Brand Principals, Distributors, 3PLs, Warehousing Companies, E-distributors, Retailers) to build strong B2B SaaS business in United Kingdom.
- Business Development: You will be expected to identify target clients (B2B and D2C brands and enterprises, 3PLs), make a value proposition & convert them into Anchanto customers.
- Business Planning: You will develop a comprehensive business plan strategy to acquire these clients in a time-bound manner. Preparing a comprehensive client acquisition plan will be key to your success.
- Solution Designing: You will create a financially viable solution for these target clients. This will require you to understand the clients existing supply chain, operations, the growth opportunities and challenges in the existing system they have in place.
- Deal Closure: You are expected to engage with the client in multiple rounds of negotiation and drive the deal to closure. Maintaining the high conversation ratio of deals closed/Client in the pipeline will be an important metric in your performance.
- Quota oriented: This role holds sales target to achieve, if not beat, during the year. You are expected to be target driven, disciplined in managing sales pipeline in the CRM to plan your sales goals and ensure that you are achieving your target regularly.
Required skills:
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales, ecommerce domain experience is highly desired
- Experience with 3PLs, Warehousing and Fulfilment Centres, E-commerce Sellers, Brands and Retailer in United Kingdom is an added advantage
Manage Sales Cycle
- Lead generation for a funnel pipeline: Manage entire sales cycle as individual contributor, steps such as cold call as required, LinkedIn emails, personal networking etc to achieve the sale target.
- Understand Customers' current Business and Operational processes to propose the right fit of SaaS products, Understanding the customer pain points, Map to Solutioning
- Demoing high-level Product/Solution: Product introduction SaaS platform demonstration, explanation of technical and functional capabilities, Understand and consult on a strategic and business level
- Contract Closure: follow-up call, sales updates sharing, proposal, pricing negotiation, contract signing, on-boarding and account handover to global account management teams.
- Structured and organised to manage and update the CRM tool for effective Sales Pipeline management
Business and Commercial Skills
- Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud/SaaS Solutions, Integrations, Retail, Omni-channel and eCommerce Fulfilment flows, and 3PL logistics and operations flows.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around Anchanto Solutions.
- Understanding of Value Based Selling and translate it into Commercial Agreements
- Work closely with the internal marketing team, PR team and top management to swiftly pickup lead/enquires / suspects to be put in sales processes.
Other Skills
- Ability to work with the global team in different geographies, cultures and time zones
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations and IT fluency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel,
- PowerPoint and Access and ecommerce-specific analysis software
- Understanding of the ecommerce and logistics industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
- Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for clients
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, self-starter, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Proactive to source leads from partners, own research and other channels.
- Work with marketing on lead and funnel quality and re-align to target relevant segment
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends for our products target segments
- Keep track of competition, pricing and promotions being offered by the competition in the market
- Work with partners (referrers, SI’s, consultants, government agencies etc) to extend reach & drive adoption.
