We provide the world’s preeminent corporations and financial institutions with a full business law service. At Norton Rose Fulbright, our strategy and our culture are closely entwined. We know that our expansion will mean little unless it is underpinned by truly global collaboration and we understand that pioneering work only takes place when our people have room to move and think beyond boundaries. As well as the relevant skills and experience, we're looking for people who are innovative, commercial and value the work that they do.

As a client-facing Senior Business Analyst with established data and process analysis and stakeholder engagement skills, you will take a key role on our client projects as well as supporting the delivery of complex legal matters. The role sits in the Applied Technology team – reporting to the Director of Applied Technology and based in Newcastle, you will work closely with people in other offices across the NRF network. You will play a pivotal role in understanding our clients’ and our lawyers’ needs, understanding complex data and process challenges, leading workshops and supporting the consultants and developers in the team to successfully deliver projects.

Data and Process Analysis:

  • Elicit detailed and thorough requirements from our clients and NRF’s lawyers, translating their business needs into requirements to create functional design documentation.
  • Work closely with developers and consultants to design and implement technical solutions.
  • Take leadership of data analysis and reporting activities where there are complex data relationships and ambiguity.
  • Present data insights in Power BI reports to support decision making
  • Work closely with developers to build Power Apps solutions that support data analysis and workflow activities

Continuous Improvement:

  • Facilitate lessons learnt workshops and sprint reviews to identify areas for improvement and recommend new ways of working.

  • Must be an excellent communicator, be decisive, gain trust, understand and articulate the vision and priorities.
  • Comfortable with juggling and prioritising needs from various teams, including the client in order to deliver value.
