We are looking for an ambitious Senior Brand Marketing Director to lead The Hoxton, Working from_ and Special Projects as part of the European Brand team at Ennismore. This is an exciting role in our growing company. Based in London and reporting into Chief Brand & Culture Officer this role will set the Global vision for the Hoxton & Working from_ while leading the integrated marketing plans for the European properties developing culturally relevant annual brand marketing plans that drive both brand love and commercial needs. You will get the opportunity to work on special projects ranging from developing new brands or products to leading multi-brand projects supporting our brand visibility on key commercial platforms and partners. We’ve got lots of ambition to grow our brands globally and appeal to new audiences, and you will be an integral part of driving this.

Job Description

What you’ll do in the role…

  • We are all about building brands with purpose, putting creative storytelling at the heart of everything we do, you will be responsible for developing the brand strategy ensuring we have a distinct point of view and deliver innovative communications and activations.
  • It goes without saying that you need to have a deep understanding of lifestyle communities. You will need to get under the skin of each brand and target consumers to drive insightful ideas and opportunities that build cultural relevance and drive cut through.
  • You will lead an integrated team across content, social, graphics, entertainment and PR creating an environment that inspires and drives ambition while allowing people to be themselves and bring their best work to the table.
  • You will be a strategic leader and take a vital role on projects that are multi-brand driving communication and cohesion across regional teams to deliver against these.
  • You will own the relationships with all Hoxton European property marketing teams and GMs ensuring that they build strategic plans that deliver on brand and commercial objectives
  • We always balance the heart and the head, so you will work with our commercial teams to drive revenue, manage budgets, set metrics and assess data and effectiveness of plans.
  • We are all about delivering the best hospitality for our guests. To do this you will work with our operations teams, defining the brand experience and standards and ensuring that they are brought to life at every guest touch point.
  • You will work closely with our in-house graphics team and some great design partners, you will need to ensure that briefs are clear and inspiring and that creative work is pushing boundaries and driving high engagement.
  • You will work across the entire marketing mix with a strong understanding of the creative process, experiential experiences and digital marketing working closely with our eCommerce teams.
  • We like to make things run smoothly but also are ok with a bit of grey. You will need to build process to drive structure and organization, while being able to be flexible and deliver great work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • A passionate brand guardian who cares about every creative detail with no compromise
  • A strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen, someone who has a track record in building brands and delivering high growth
  • A great communicator with stakeholders across the business at all levels. You will have the ability to interact with potential and existing owners to articulate brand vision and ethos and get them as excited as we are.
  • You’re naturally curious and want to challenge the status quo by bringing your own ideas to the fore.
  • You’re super organised and will be able to calmly jump from project to project and manage competing, and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Experience in hospitality isn’t a must but we do want you to be genuinely interested in our industry; whether that’s a love for a delicious meal, a decent drink, a cosy bed or a travel adventure
  • Someone proactive and able to work independently but likes being sociable & collaborative too
  • You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done
  • You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
