As the Betway Scores and BW Scores Senior Brand Manager, you’ll be responsible for owning and delivering the strategy, product roadmap and marketing for Betway Scores and BW Scores, in collaboration with the Operations Lead, Social Media Lead and Country Leads – this is a key ‘roll your sleeves up’ hands-on strategic role which will establish Betway Scores and BW Scores as credible sports scoring apps, to help us widen our sportsbook top-of-funnel by bringing more sports fans into our branded ecosystem.

What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the R & D team on the prioritised product roadmap based on data/analytics, customer feedback, competition, and stakeholder input
  • Gaining a deep understanding of customer experience to identify and fill gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Regular competitor analysis to ensure UX and UI constantly evolves to compete with the market leaders
  • Owning and directing marketing research, strategy and execution, including directing Brand Ambassador/s
  • Collaborating with the Social Media Specialist to deliver engaging social content
  • Managing content generator/s
  • Working with CRM team to roll out retention comms strategy
  • Ensuring that the product and marketing is executed in compliance with market-relevant regulatory frameworks in collaboration with the Compliance and Legal teams
  • Budget Management
  • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness, understanding, buy-in and support from country teams
  • Monthly reporting to key stakeholders to keep them informed of progress of the product

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
  • A very good understanding of the sports scoring market.
  • Ability to conceptualise, discuss and present data, results, strategies, and marketing proposals internally and externally.
  • Business level written and spoken English.
  • Be comfortable working under pressure.
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
  • Significant experience of working with a range of teams, developing strong relationships including product developers, legal and compliance and marketing personnel
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong written communication and presentational skills
  • Excellent product, marketing and industry knowledge

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some the following skills:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Previous experience in the sports marketing industry
  • Previous experience in a regulated industry, preferably gaming
