Senior Brand Manager, Advisory 

Pattern is a leading eCommerce accelerator with offices across the globe offering outsourced marketplace and ecommerce management services for brands worldwide. The Pattern Ecommerce Acceleration Platform leverages AI-powered technology, industry expertise, and global distribution, logistics, and fulfilment services to help quality brands scale profitably on their own websites and through hundreds of marketplaces. Pattern is expanding and we are looking for an experienced marketplace expert to join our Global AdvisoryTeam based in London to support the delivery of consulting engagements to our valued Brand Partners. Our Advisory Team engages with global brands leveraging Pattern’s data to deliver insights, research and benchmarking to help inform digital strategy, marketplace acceleration and omnichannel excellence.

You will support with defining the E2E digital growth strategy and profitability plan for your portfolio of brands by working cross-functionally with Operations, Content, Advertising, Creative, Merchandising and Finance. You will also work on cross-functional internal strategic initiatives that support Pattern’s international growth.

You will be a strategic and commercial ecommerce professional who can engage partners and internal stakeholders towards a common goal. You will have a growth mindset and love navigating the challenges of working in fast changing landscapes. 

 

What is a day in the life of a Senior Brand Manager, Advisory?

 

The core responsibilities of the Senior Brand Manager reflect the following:

 

 Define robust digital acceleration strategies for a portfolio of brands, focused on driving revenue and share growth across global marketplaces 

 Conduct analysis of brands performance using multiple data sources and tools on a regular basis to ensure that performance is optimised across all touch points

 Ensure that a clear activity plans are in place to achieve and surpass the budget targets, including promotional planning, seasonal phasing, NPD launches, advertising campaigns etc.

 Conduct in-depth research (competitor research, scorecards, benchmarking analysis, market research) - collate and analyze data from multiple sources to produce insightful and data-driven outputs

 Combine external research evidence, client insights and commercial practicality to inform business strategy and decision-making.

 Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client partners, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.

 Oversee the development and storyline of client presentations - assist with building creative and engaging deliverables, retailer research and analysis

 Manage client relationships and liaising with stakeholders - engage with stakeholders to understand their business challenges and insight needs

 Assist with project management and support final delivery of client work.

 Support new business efforts by participating in the development of content for internal and wider industry events and activities, project proposals and pitches

 

 

What will I need to thrive in this role?

 Demonstrated success in managing an ecommerce business.

 5-7 years experience in an ecommerce role

 Previous experience growing brands on Marketplaces (Amazon). Possess a deep understanding ofmarketplace strategy, as well as being fully immersed in retail and digital trends

 Strong academic background (2:1 or above)

 Creative thinker and problem solver.

 Demonstrable knowledge of being able to analyse large data sets to interpret trends and draw clear conclusions

 Highly organized and disciplined.

 Experience of managing and developing junior team members

 Willing to be nimble and adaptable to change.

 Effective communication skills and stakeholder management experience

 Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
