Welcome to the video first world

From your everyday PowerPoint presentations to Hollywood movies, AI will transform the way we create and consume content. Today, people want to watch and listen, not read — both at home and at work. If you’re reading this and nodding, check out our brand video.

Despite the clear preference for video, communication and knowledge sharing in the business environment are still dominated by text, largely because high-quality video production remains complex and challenging to scale—until now….

Meet Synthesia

We're on a mission to make video easy for everyone. Born in an AI lab, our AI video communications platform simplifies the entire video production process, making it easy for everyone, regardless of skill level, to create, collaborate, and share high-quality videos. Whether it's for delivering essential training to employees and customers or marketing products and services, Synthesia enables large organizations to communicate and share knowledge through video quickly and efficiently. We’re trusted by leading brands such as Heineken, Zoom, Xerox, McDonald’s and more. Read stories from happy customers and what 1,200+ people say on G2.

In 2023, we were one of 7 European companies to reach unicorn status. In February 2024, G2 named us as the fastest growing company in the world. We’ve raised over $150M in funding from top-tier investors, including Accel, Nvidia, Kleiner Perkins, Google and top founders and operators including Stripe, Datadog, Miro, Webflow, and Facebook.

The Role

We’re looking for a full-time Senior Brand Copywriter to take ownership of our brand’s voice and ensure it resonates with audiences as we scale. You’ll be instrumental in shaping how we communicate, from high-level narratives to tactical messaging. If you thrive in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment and love crafting compelling stories that connect with both customers and internal teams, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and Own the Brand’s Voice: You’ll be responsible for creating and evolving our tone of voice, making sure it's consistent across all channels and formats.
  • Create Engaging Narratives: Write compelling, strategic content that drives engagement, from blogs and marketing campaigns to sales messaging and customer communications.
  • Write Compelling Scripts for Videos: Write video scripts that resonate with our audience, ensuring our messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with our brand’s voice.
  • Mentor and Guide the Team: Act as a coach for other team members, helping them align with the brand’s voice and improve their copywriting skills.
  • Ensure Messaging Consistency: Partner with various teams to ensure our messaging is cohesive and scalable as the company grows.
  • Strategic Messaging: Shape the direction of our messaging, ensuring it aligns with broader company goals and resonates with our audience across departments and touchpoints.

We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You’ve worked in B2B SaaS: You know the ins and outs of B2B SaaS and have seen how messaging evolves as companies scale.
  • You’re a strategic storyteller: You have experience crafting both high-level brand stories and tactical, conversion-driven messaging.
  • You’re an editor at heart: You enjoy working hands-on with content and know how to give feedback that helps others improve.
  • English is your native (or near-native) language: You have impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • You’re proactive and adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and you’re always ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work.
