We are looking for candidates to join our People and Operations Practice as a Senior Bid Writer. You will be working closely with our Senior Leadership Team and Account Managers, managing the allocation of commercial opportunities to internal teams and supporting them in the development of winning written proposals. As well as managing opportunities, the role will involve liaising with teams and senior stakeholders internally and externally, analysing large amounts of information and developing compelling conclusions.

You will be a motivated self-starter, who is highly organised and able to balance multiple priorities. You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both of which are essential to this role. This role will suit someone who is interested in a career in business administration and operational process development, with a view to progressing towards managing and leading business development processes and opportunities in the future.
Main Duties:
- Setting standards and taking responsibility for crafting accurate, high quality, professional, impactful and hopefully successful bid responses.
- Contribute or lead the development of written proposals and presentations
- Analyse questions, Identify win themes
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on developing bid responses, ensuringaccuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
- Ensure consistency of style and quality across responses
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to answer detailed technical questions
- Write content, summarise, shorten, enhance.
- Track bids in progress, outlining potential risks and benefits, as well as the outcomes,collating feedback and providing points for improvement.Solirius Consulting Internal Recruitment

- Participate in bid strategy sessions to understand client requirements and competitive landscape.
- Establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Representing Solirius, if necessary, at pre-bid meetings.Specialist skills required:
- A strong degree in any discipline - particularly where analysing information and developing written conclusions forms a significant part of the syllabus, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken word with an ability to successfully engage with team members, clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to write reports, proposals (e.g. dissertations)
- Attention to detail, and strong organisational and time management skills areessential.
- Ability to analyse and condense large amounts of information.
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel) andGoogle Suites.
