What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking for a Technical Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning Specialist to build and administer a BCP/DR program covering Epic's most important products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the policies, procedures, and solutions required to reduce business continuity risks and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. This role requires a driven individual who is self-driven, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will

  • Authoring and maintaining Epic’s BCP/DR-related policies
  • The development and maturation of Epic’s company-wide BCP/DR program
  • Develop and run the internal assessments program, aligned with industry-standard internal audit frameworks and tailored to Epic’s needs
  • Plan and conduct internal assessments to assess alignment with internal policy and regulatory requirements
  • Work with teams across Epic to document, track, and remediate assessment findings
  • Integrate with other compliance and governance programs at Epic
  • Build and represent Epic’s forward-looking BCP/DR roadmap
  • Regularly communicate the status of BCP/DR compliance program health and policy adherence
  • Maintain necessary training materials and other policy compliance mechanisms

What we're looking for

  • Familiar with Disaster Recovery implementations on cloud hosted services
  • Strong knowledge of Business Continuity principles and technology industry standards
  • Experience running internal compliance/assurance assessments
  • Knowledge of disaster response and disaster recovery best practices (DRII, NDRF, FEMA CES, etc.)
  • Knowledge of internal audit frameworks (ISACA, COBIT, etc.)
  • Familiarity with NIS and NIS2 EU directives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and policy documentation
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
