The Role

As a Senior Associate Sales Relationship Manager in this role, your focus will be on expanding our ETF and Derivatives trading footprint with our MarketAxess clients. Working with the well-established RFQhub team, you will be the main point of contact for the MarketAxess sales teams across the EMEA and APAC to identify high value prospects for our RFQhub partnership. The incumbent will work with Marketing to establish our low touch outreach and represent MarketAxess' RFQhub partnership at events and conferences. This will entail a deep curiosity for the ETF market, participants and how to integrate ETFs within the MarketAxess umbrella. You will build a book of business and lead our ETF sales effort for MarketAxess in EMEA and APAC. The successful applicant displays a clear communication of the value proposition, deep understanding and curiosity of the ETF market and its participants, as well as, good networking skills are key to success.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the market and MarketAxess product suite, anticipate customer needs, and use discretion to advise customers
  • Serve as the RFQhub subject matter expert to accompany MarketAxess Sales on client meetings
  • Actively build a new business pipeline within the relevant product or region, call on customers and develop relationships at multiple levels across the customer organization (intermediate) 
  • Travel where necessary and meet the minimum of customer meetings during and after business hours and be able to entertain customers at various events when needed
  • Be the internal and external champion of ETFs and RFQhub 
  • Assist with month end/quarter end reporting for clients
  • Cross collaborate with other Dealer Sales Relationship Managers on the desk with managing the desk's key accounts
  • Own your own accounts - building relationships with ETF traders at large Asset Managers
  • Drive key initiatives: List trading, automation, switch trading
  • Entertain and travel for client engagement
  • Identify sales opportunities to cross-sell MarketAxess products
  • Collaborate with internal teams, - customer services, Customer integration, research, client Sales, Data teams and Global work colleagues 

What We’re Looking for 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services; sales or operations experience from a broker/dealer, or relevant experience working for a fixed income electronic trading venue
  • Knowledge of the RFQhub trading platform, its processes and key stakeholder functions
  • Knowledge of the product suite including eNAV, automation, and options
  • Understanding and interest in trading/financial markets
  • Interest in ETFs and Options
  • Displays customer services skills and an ability to perform standard client service for data products
  • Interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (eg. negotiation, consultative skills)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive self-starter, comfortable in a team environment
  • Ability to interact with and provide insight to ETF line-traders and trading management
