We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate Planner in our London office.

Department Overview:

  • Retail Planning for EMEA across all retail channels (Lifestyle, Outlet, Ecommerce)
  • Women’ s Apparel Department
  • Reporting to the Planner
  • The primary purpose of this position is to assist the analysis and develop product & trading strategies for an evolving retail business across multiple classifications

What You’ll Do:

  • Updates and manages the Department WSSI’s, driving sales and monitoring flow of inventory
  • Manages OTB within own Departments to deliver optimum profitability while reacting to current trade
  • Recap business at door level/product level and create best seller/hindsight reports to allow for thorough analysis of the business. Communicate and champion needs of the stores.
  • Establish strong relationships with wider buying, planning and allocation team.  
  • Develops a strong understanding of regional markets, and actively uses this knowledge in daily decisions
  • Creates distribution guidelines to ensure all product is delivered to store in a timely manner & within store capacities. Acts as the key link between Planning team and Allocator.
  • Reviews effectiveness of grading & methods to deliver optimum stock levels
  • Regularly uses store visits to make customer focused decisions
  • Thinks commercially about how to improve performance of dept and identifies ways to improve business. Contributes to decision making on the Department, bringing well-informed opinions.
  • In support of Planner, manages promotional and markdown activities in a way to support achievement of sales and inventory plans.
  • Manages overall store inventory levels based on store capacity, attributes, seasonality and selling curves.
  • Deputises effectively for Planner.
  • Contributes to Department Strategy, providing strategic, innovative ideas to support sales plans.

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • Computer Literate – Advanced Excel Skills required
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Pro-active approach and the ability to overcome obstacles
  • Can-do attitude
  • Previous experience in an Assistant Merchandiser role in a fast-paced fashion retailer
