Condé Nast thrives on collaboration, and our teams come together in the office four days a week (Monday - Thursday).

We value diversity of background, views and cultures. We celebrate people for their personal qualities, skills and contributions, recognising the power our brands have to influence and shape culture.

What is Vogue Business?

Vogue Business is an online fashion industry publication launched in January 2019. Headquartered at Condé Nast in London, it is the first B2B (business-to-business) title offered by the company and sits alongside its sister brand, Vogue. At Vogue Business, we offer a truly global perspective on the fashion industry, exploring how cultural trends and global patterns will impact fashion businesses. Harnessing insights from technologists, trend forecasters, futurists and innovators in other sectors, Vogue Business is the leading source of information on how new technologies, innovations and industry developments will shape the future of products, marketing and omnichannel growth in the fashion world.

Condé Nast is a global media company, home to iconic brands including Vogue, The New Yorker, GQ, Glamour, AD, Vanity Fair and Wired, among many others. The company's award-winning content reaches 84 million consumers in print, 367 million in digital and 379 million across social platforms, and generates more than 1 billion video views each month.

The Role

The Senior Advisor will provide essential support for our Insights and Advisory function, which includes developing and managing both proprietary and custom client research projects, as well as supporting branded content.

A key focus of this role is supporting the execution of bespoke research and strategy briefs, managing branded content outputs (e.g. sponsored whitepapers) and leading the creation of our flagship research, including multi-market mixed methodology research studies across fashion, beauty and hard luxury (watches and jewellery). This requires strong market research, data analysis and project management skills. Experience with survey design and building indices is desirable but not essential for this role. What’s key is someone who possesses advanced excel skills, can scrape and synthesise data using digital tools and is comfortable analysing different types of data. This role will be a fantastic step up if you have previous experience at an established market research, strategy or consulting firm, either as an analyst, research manager or market research consultant.

Good written English is also required as the Senior Advisor will not only be leading on some of our written reports but additionally be liaising with multiple stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and freelancers. As you develop, you will also have opportunities to boost your public profile with speaking engagements, by taking part in presentations and events.

This is a great opportunity to support the growth of one of the most exciting fashion industry titles in the market, Vogue Business. You will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoy working collaboratively. This role reports into the Head of Custom Insights and Advisory and you will also work closely with a highly experienced and dynamic team, who gather in person at the Condé Nast offices at Embankment 4 days a week and enjoy working from home on Fridays. We particularly welcome applicants from minority backgrounds as our team is passionate about addressing the need for more diverse representation in the professional research field. If you think you meet 85% of the requirements but would need additional support to meet the complete brief, we welcome you to apply anyway; there is always scope to learn on the job! However, please note we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role and can only progress candidates with full right to work in the UK.

What will you be doing?

  • To be responsible for the day-to-day project management of Vogue Business research projects, including co-ordinating data collection, survey design and execution, updating rankings (training provided) and identifying storylines and trends for reports.

  • To create client-facing deliverables (e.g. client decks and competitive analyses)

  • To create webinar and presentation content for Vogue Business insights events.

  • Relevant experience in consulting, strategy, or market research roles

  • Experience in creating and building content for research and client reports.

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Capable communicator

  • High standard of written English and verbal communication skills
