Purpose of the Position 

Pantheon Ventures (“Pantheon”), a $90B multi-strategy investment firm, is seeking a Senior Associate, Fund Finance for its International Private Wealth strategy.  The candidate will have meaningful participation across a wide range of job functions supporting the investment platform. The candidate should appreciate the entrepreneurial nature of the position and the opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing launching of new funds and products within a well-established, global investment firm. The candidate should be well-versed in Private Equity and/or Private Credit fund management, accounting, valuation, risk management, semi-liquid private markets products in Europe, the role of third-party fund service providers and general finance and reporting oversight functions. The individual will join the Private Wealth Operations team based in London.

The Senior Associate, Fund Finance – Private Wealth, working with the VP, Fund Finance - Private Wealth, will play a central role in the Private Wealth Fund Finance team. This will include key fund finance activities such as fund administrator accounting oversight, fund audit, reporting, valuation procedures, and other operational processes that may be required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial and operational support to meet business objectives
  • Build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Oversee fund accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Review and approve fund expenses, management fees & reports
  • Manage third-party fund administrators and service providers
  • Support external audits and oversee capital events
  • Ensure risk frameworks are adhered to and processes are optimized
  • Assist with Investor Relations and transaction closings
  • Participate in investment meetings to understand deal pipelines

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable fund accounting experience in the private markets industry (in-house background or TPA considered)
  • Recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA)
  • Expertise in Private Equity, Private Credit & SICAVs
  • Strong understanding of fund lifecycle processes & internal controls
  • Excellent organisational & process improvement skills
  • Proficiency in Excel with strong analytical capabilities
  • Exceptional communication & relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented professional with integrity
