Job Description 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Application Consultant to deliver high-quality consulting and training services to clients, primarily within the legal industry. This role will focus on implementing, configuring, and optimizing Elite’s legal practice management software solutions, enabling clients to enhance their business processes and achieve their strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in functional consulting, process design, and system implementation, along with strong client engagement skills. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Provide consulting services to clients, including process and solution design, configuration, user acceptance testing, classroom training, Go-Live support, and post-implementation activities such as month-end closing and balancing.
  • Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and Technical Consultants to define functional requirements, translating them into actionable project plans and tasks aligned with the implementation methodology.
  • Create comprehensive project documentation, including Functional Requirements Definitions, Software Requirement Specifications, Training Strategies, and Testing Strategies.
  • Actively pursue issue resolution, communicating project challenges and updates to stakeholders such as consulting team members, the Support Desk, Project Managers, and clients to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Work collaboratively within a matrix organization, contributing to the learning and development of team members and participating in internal initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain a current understanding of Elite’s software features and functionality to provide best-practice recommendations and innovative solutions.
  • Operate as part of a remote team, ensuring effective delivery of consulting services while fostering strong client relationships.

What You’ll Need 

  • 10+ years of experience in functional consulting, software implementation, or a related field, ideally within the legal or professional services industry.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with legal practice management software system implementations (e.g., Elite Enterprise, Elite 3E) or similar ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as SQL, TSQL, and ETL tools like SSIS.
  • Analytical and process design skills, including workflow process definition, modeling, and problem-solving.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes in a multi-currency, multi-unit environment.
  • The ability to map and follow transactions from inception to general ledger posting; experience as a Systems Accountant or similar role is advantageous.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating technical and procedural matters to diverse audiences.
  • Functional leadership experience, collaborating closely with the customer and Solution Architects to fully understand “As Is” conditions and “To Be” requirements.
  • The ability to generate detailed and comprehensive functional design documents consumed by multiple downstream parties.
  • Expertise in generating and documenting detailed Use Cases to ensure that all scenarios are captured to meet each requirement.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships across teams and clients.
