Job Description
Wise Platform helps banks, software companies and large enterprises leverage Wise’s infrastructure to offer their customers world-class payments products through their own channels. Our partners make up some of the world’s biggest banks and online platforms, such as Monzo, Morgan Stanley, NuBank and Google. We’re a cross-functional team that sits across sales, account management, product, engineering, compliance, analytics and more. And we’re global, with offices in New York, London, Singapore and beyond.
The role:
We are looking for an Analyst Lead to play a leading role in our cross-functional Banks Vertical team. It’s a role that will allow you to have a big impact from day one! You will work closely with the vertical leads from commercial, delivery, product and engineering to shape the priorities of the vertical, building conviction through your insights and analysis.
You will work on answering questions such as:
-
Where are our biggest growth and commercial opportunities?
-
Who should we be selling our products and solutions to? And, how can we position our products to capture prospects' attention?
-
What products should we be building and/or improving to unlock growth?
-
What can we do to reduce time to revenue and ensure partners scale effectively?
-
How can we reduce friction in the transaction lifecycle and improve our products and solutions?
Qualifications
-
You have experience working in payments (preferably) or are excited about building an expert understanding of our bank products and solutions, as well as those of our competitors.
-
You have experience working in a high-growth B2B tech environment and have worked closely with sales and product teams before.
-
You understand B2B sales cycles (ideally enterprise), are familiar with sales metrics/KPIs and have a good working knowledge of tools like Salesforce or similar.
-
You are commercially minded. You are comfortable with opportunity sizing, forecasting and scenario modelling.
-
You (preferably) have line management experience, or experience coaching or developing analysts. And, are comfortable working with stakeholders to identify opportunities where analytics can have an impact and turning this into an analytics roadmap.
-
You are solution-oriented and able to own projects from start to finish. You are comfortable motivating stakeholders across Wise and negotiating timelines to unblock yourself and make things happen!
-
You are proficient with SQL and know your way around data pipeline management tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Git, Airflow and Python (all analysts at Wise are expected to be full-stack and should be comfortable owning analytics from ingestion to insights).
-
You’re an expert at crafting dashboards and visualisations that bring data to life, tell a story and have diagnostic power - even better if you’ve got experience doing this in Looker/Superset.
-
You have a strong track record of applying quantitative analysis to see beyond the numbers, generate actionable insights and drive the adoption of your proposed changes by influencing stakeholders.
-
You are an excellent communicator, able to form your own opinions and effectively articulate them to win colleagues round to your way of thinking.
