If you’re ready to grow, shape the future of fintech and join an ambitious, high-performing team, this is the place for you.

Your impact
This role is part of the Insights team, a small, fast-paced team focused on building a new, customer-facing data product. We are transforming our existing merchant dashboard into a more tech-savvy, AI-driven analytics suite to help our customers drive their business with data.

Your work will be highly visible to both senior leadership and our customers, directly impacting Mollie's revenue by helping us upsell products and attract upmarket merchants. This is a high-ownership, entrepreneurial role where you will have the freedom to take ideas from concept to production quickly and help shape a core data product from the ground up.

What you’ll do
  • Play a leading role in the build-out of the new Insights page for our merchant dashboard.

  • Design, develop, and maintain new customer-facing metrics and KPIs.

  • Work on the end-to-end data infrastructure, from modeling raw data to figuring out how it will be served and consumed by the application.

  • Collaborate closely with application engineers to ensure the application and data layers are tightly integrated.

  • Engage directly with customers in interviews to understand their needs and determine what data and insights they want to see.

  • Help create and integrate AI-driven solutions to enhance the data product.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, business intelligence, or equivalent demonstrable experience using data to help businesses.

  • Advanced SQL proficiency and a strong understanding of data modeling principles.

  • Proven experience building and scaling data models using dbt or an equivalent stack (e.g., SQL + Airflow).

  • Deep experience with at least one modern BI or data visualization tool (e.g. Looker, Tableau, etc.).

  • A track record of taking raw, complex data sources and modeling them into useful, clean, production-ready datasets.

  • The ability to translate business problems into data questions and clearly communicate findings to non-technical partners.

Grow your way

At Mollie, growth is personal. We believe everyone should have the chance to develop their skills, explore new challenges and shape their career on their own terms.

You’ll get regular feedback and performance reviews to support your development, with fair and transparent salary reviews along the way. Many Mollies move into new roles or take on new projects to stretch themselves, and we actively hire from within to help you take the next step.

No matter if you’re aiming for promotion, exploring a different career path or building new skills, you’ll be supported with the tools, trust and opportunities to grow your way.
