THE ROLE

This role sits within the Global Value function and is tasked with identifying, measuring, and reporting all areas of value delivered by Mediabrands to our clients with a particular focus on new business pitches.  You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of individuals across our global network on a daily basis, analysing media buying across all of the media types available in each marketplace. The Senior Analyst will report directly into the Group Growth Director.

This role will develop media knowledge across all media types (TV, Digital, Social, Retail, OOH, Print & Radio) across multiple geographies including Europe, APAC, LATAM and North America.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

The Senior Analyst will develop and maintain close relationships with the following stakeholders.

  • Senior Global Value team members; the Group Growth Director and Managing Director, Global Value
  • Peers across the broader Global Value team
  • Country Trading leads
  • Magna Regional & Global hub teams

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Pitch Value Management

  • Manage pitch cost tracking and reporting across multi-market clients including, briefing of pricing templates to local teams, checking data for accuracy, analysing results, and working with the local teams to assess pitch value.
  • Act as a first point of identification of any template pricing issues which impact pitch delivery, escalating and supporting the Group Growth Director where appropriate.
  • Assist the Group Growth Director in delivering regular summary pitch reporting against tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Querying country buying teams on pricing submissions and help to summarise to senior members of the team.
  • Understand how to pricing submissions work back to our commitments and delivery and be able to identify areas of strengths and weakness.
  • Be able to assess auditor reports for cross analysis vs our system/reports.
  • Share best practices across local markets and support the Group Growth Director in roll out of key learnings and ways of working.
  • Update and maintain pitch pricing and inflation database.
  • Act as the in-house system expert for the specific team, ensuring the systems are kept up to date with relevant and correct information.

Internal & External Client engagement

  • Help Group Growth Director prepare data & templates to share with auditor for submission and validation.
  • Work with local agency trading teams, acting in a consultant capacity to ensure they fully understand pricing templates, commitment structures and how to optimise delivery.
  • Support Group Growth Director in preparing for internal leadership presentations.
  • Contribute to Global Value meetings and be able to coach/train junior members of the team where needed.
