Role Overview:

As a Senior Analyst, you will take a leading role in the delivery of analytical solutions for our key global accounts. This position involves not only executing complex data analyses but also guiding and mentoring junior team members. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that insights derived from data drive meaningful business outcomes. This role is ideal for an experienced analyst looking to further develop their expertise while contributing to the growth and innovation of the analytics function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of Analytics Output: Lead the delivery of analytics outputs for assigned accounts and campaigns, ensuring that insights are actionable and aligned with client objectives.
  • Collaboration and Insights: Work closely with campaign teams to provide regular insights and strategic recommendations, steering both short-term optimisation and long-term research initiatives.
  • Methodological Rigor: Adopt and promote rigorous analytical techniques, including experimental design and econometrics modelling, to scientifically evaluate campaign performance and testing results.
  • Client and Team Liaison: Act as a bridge between client business users and the data engineering team, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
  • Test and Learn Programmes: Design and deploy test and learn initiatives that deliver measurable value, either through onsite conversion rate optimisation (CRO) or digital ad platform enhancements.
  • Innovation and Development: Contribute to the evolution of the organisation's data analytics offering by exploring and implementing new techniques in marketing, consumer research, predictive analytics, and machine learning.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior analysts, helping to develop their skills in areas such as Python, SQL, and other relevant tools and techniques.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in an agency or similar environment, with a strong passion for data analytics and a proven track record of delivering high-quality insights.
  • Education: Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Mathematics, or a related applied science or social science field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient user of SQL databases, with experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data analysis libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).
  • Analytical Techniques: Solid understanding of statistics, including descriptive statistics, regression analysis, probability, sampling, and hypothesis testing.
  • Web Analytics Tools: Competency in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, and knowledge of ad-serving and media agency workflows.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience in working both independently and within project teams, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a self-starting attitude.
