The Role

MarketAxess is seeking a Senior Sales Analyst for our Post Trade Sales team to drive revenue growth and client adoption of our Post-Trade and STP matching solutions across the US. This role blends sales execution, relationship management, and product expertise in Cash and Repo matching platforms. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations teams, engage stakeholders, and support the full commercial lifecycle from prospecting to retention.

How You'll Help Take Us There

  • Manage a pipeline of buy-side and sell-side opportunities for MarketAxess Post-Trade and STP solutions
  • Drive adoption and usage of matching platforms across Cash and Repo markets
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Lead client onboarding and coordinate commercial terms
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to all prospects
  • Assist with client business reviews and strategy sessions
  • Assist in events – coordination at roundtables and annual forums
  • Attend industry conferences as required
  • Collaborate with Product Management on enhancements
  • Oversee sales coordination and reporting via Salesforce
  • Meet the minimum of customer meetings during and after business hours and be able to entertain customers at various venues

What We’re Looking for  

  • 1+ years of experience in financial services; sales or operations experience from a broker/dealer or relevant experience working for a fixed income electronic trading venue preferred
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of the fixed income markets, preferably investment grade, high yield, emerging markets, leveraged loans, credit derivatives and fixed income ETFs
  • Interest in matching platforms, STP solutions, or post-trade infrastructure (cash and/or repo) 
  • Preliminary knowledge of the Repo market; Cash market experience also preferred 
  • Proven ability to sell financial technology solutions to buy-side and sell-side clients 
  • Sound understanding of post-trade processes (trade matching, confirmation, settlement) 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical and commercial mindset with a track record of closing revenue opportunities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $75,000 USD to $95,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
