How you will create an impact
As a Senior Analyst within International Operations, you will support the design and delivery of key strategic initiatives across AIG’s global Operations organization. You will work at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution - helping to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and implement solutions that improve operational performance and customer outcomes.
This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-wide transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Execution
Support the development of Operations strategy aligned with AIG priorities
Conduct internal and external analysis (e.g., performance, benchmarking, trends) to inform strategic decision-making
Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives, milestones, and measurable outcomes
Operational Excellence & Transformation
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve service delivery across operations
Support large-scale transformation initiatives, including process optimization, digitization, and AI automation
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts leveraging methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
Analytics & Insights
Analyze complex datasets to generate insights that drive operational and strategic decisions
Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to track performance against targets
Build robust business cases, including financial modeling and ROI analysis
Project & Stakeholder Management
Support or lead cross-functional initiatives across regions and business lines
Partner with stakeholders in Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk, and Business Units
Prepare executive-level materials and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
What you’ll need to succeed
High level of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, or a related analytical role
Experience in insurance, financial services, or a highly regulated industry preferred
Demonstrated experience supporting or delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
Strong analytical, financial / operational modelling, and problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (incl. Think-Cell) required
Experience with data tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R Studio, Alteryx) and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
Understanding of operational processes, performance management, and risk considerations
Strategic thinker with the ability to connect data to business outcomes
Strong execution mindset with attention to detail and accountability for results
Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
